Planner Help
Overview
the planner is split into two main sections, recipes and the weekly planner. First you create or edit recipes, then you drop them onto a weekly planner where you can print and stick on the fridge or add the ingredients to your cart.
Recipes
recipes are broken down into three main sections, the ingredients/measurements list, the cooking notes and finally the actual Ezyshop items that will go into your shopping cart.
There are two types of recipes
- Ezyshop recipes - these can't be updated however you can copy and modify them
- Your recipes - copies of Ezyshop recipes, or ones that you have created from scratch
Creating and Editing Recipes
It's envisaged that you will start with either an Ezyshop recipe or a blank recipe or. Then you can add or modify the recipe to your liking and finally you can add the Ezyshop items that go into your shopping cart. So get all your favourite recipes into the system, these are private to you and you alone so no one else can steal your secret ingredients.
Adding the ingredients items to your cart
You can add the recipe ingredients to your shopping to cart. To make life a bit easier we have also added a checkbox to the Ezyshop ingredients list. The main use for this is to stop unwanted items like salt from being added to your cart when chances are it's already in the pantry. Items that are unchecked serve mainly as a prompt to make sure you have some at home.
Meal Planner
Following the setup of your recipes you can then drag and drop recipes onto the meal planner so that it forms a weekly meal list. This list can be easily printed and put on the fridge, it can also have all the ingredients added to your shopping cart so you can make all the meals.
When you print the meal planner it will include the recipe and ingredients so it's best to keep the ingredients and method as short and concise as possible. otherwise the text can get a bit big when printed.
Meal Planner ideas
Sometimes you might want to place a note or reminder on the meal planner, this could be something like "Tuesday - take kids to cinema". Simply create a blank recipe and title it with the note you want, then drag that recipe onto the meal planner. You can always delete recipe notes once the week has past.
